Houston Dynamo face Sporting Kansas City in the Eastern Conference final on November 6 – MLS News
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Philadelphia-Union-c40231 in the two-legged Eastern Conference semi-final making their way to final where they will face Sporting Kansas City at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park on Sunday, November 6.
Although the Dynamo are in rich vein of form, posting a 6-0-2 (wins, losses, draws) record, but one thing stills worries them: the Sporting are the last team who defeated the Orange prior to the 8-match undefeated streak and the venue was LIVESTRONG Sporting
Park.
The Sporting ran through the Dynamo with a 3-0 drubbing on September 10. However, a lot has changed since that defeat and Die Oranje skipper http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brian-Ching-c8054 thinks his team can emerge victors come the weekend.
“We didn’t get a great result last time,” Ching said. “But we’re a different team now and hopefully we can come out of there and head to the final.”
Centre-back http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Geoff-Cameron-c14532 was hopeful for a win, owing to the good run of form that has led his team to six victories in last 8 games including two against the Union in the home-and-home semi-final series.
“I think we’re going to play our game,” Cameron said. “I don’t think we’re going to adapt to their style. We’re going to adjust going in there and play our game. We lost a lot of that when we went there September 10, but we have a lot of confidence. We feel
good in the back.”
Both Dynamo and Sporting are known for their skill on set-pieces. The Sporting scored all three goals against the Orange on free-kicks in the September 10 outing. Houston, on the other hand, scored all of their play-off goals on set-pieces. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brad-Davis-c7951 is
famous for creating goals on free-kicks for Dynamo whereas http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Graham-Zusi-c15204 has the same reputation in the Wizards’ roster.
However, according to Ching, his team has to come up strong in the middle of the park where the Wiz have five midfielders.
“They’re a team with a lot of confidence just like us. We have to stay organized. They play with five in midfield and we definitely have to be prepared for that.”
The winner of the conference final will head to The Home Depot Center in Carson, California on November 20, where they will play either Real Salt Lake or http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Los-Angeles-Galaxy-c39818 for the MLS Cup title.
