Houston Dynamo sign Sergio “Koke” Pardo from Aris Thessaloniki – Major League Soccer news

The player was a firm fan favourite and had a strong following. Koke’s American switch was a sad day for the Aris faithful. The player is now hoping the fans will understand the rationale behind his move.
“The relationship with the Aris fans was great,” he said. “I was the captain and they loved me. It’s difficult to put into words. They understand, I hope, that I needed to take another career path.”
Koke started training with his new teammates at Robertson Stadium. The player appreciated the warm welcome he received at the new outfit. “I think they are a good team and a good group,” Koke said after his first training on Wednesday. “I was a little bit tired, but the other players took me in and we’ll get a better feeling once we have more trainings.”
Koke played as an attacking midfield at the Greek club.
