Houston Rockets pull off a huge win over Phoenix Suns-

Houston Rockets sent the home support into frenzy, after they clutched a stupendous victory over the visiting Phoenix Suns 99-81. With the win, the Rockets extended their home record to 10-3.
The game that took place at Toyota Centre on 3rd of February witnessed another setback for the Suns as they lost the 14th game of the season. The Rockets were on top of their game as they went ahead early
on and never looked back.
On the night, seven Rockets’ players got into the double figures, 3 of them from the bench. They were led by Kevin Martin who, with less than 18 minutes on court, garnered a team high 16 points substantiated with 100 percent free
throws attempts. Forward Luis Scola scored 14 while Courtney Lee, Chase Budinger and Patrick Patterson scored 12 points each. Forwards Chandler Parsons and Goran Dragic added 10 points respectively.
After the game, Parsons opined that further improvements can be made by inducing small changes.
“Our defence needs to fuel our offense. If we get big stops and limit their [the opponent's] second-chance opportunities we can get out and run, and that's when we're at our best."
For the Suns, Marcin Gortat came up with a double-double consisting of 12 rebounds and 15 points. Jared Dudley scored 15 while Shannon Brown had 12.
Frustrated by his team’s output Marcin Gortat said;
"I'm trying to do as much as possible, but we're just not ready, not ready at all. It's frustrating as h**l. The game before we look good and everything is okay, and then all of a sudden ... 48 hours later, you see a totally different
team”.
The Rockets totally dominated the game from the start as they got a foothold in the 1st quarter. The Suns scored 6 points in a row to grab a 14-13 lead midway through the first quarter, but it was quickly clawed off
by a 8-0 run by the Rockets, who took a 30-20 advantage into the second frame.
The Rockets maintained their tempo throughout the 2nd quarter and augmented their lead to as much as 20 late in the frame. By halftime, the hosts were sitting pretty at 59-39.
The game took a dramatic shift after the interval as the Suns tried to mount a comeback. However every time, they tried to lunge forward, the Rockets answered back in the same coin. The Suns managed to outscore the Rockets 21-20
in the frame, but entered the last 12 minutes trailing by 80-61. The last quarter again saw end to end play the Suns finally gave up at 99-81.
