Question:

How, where and how long does it take to renew a Greek passport in England?

Well the thing is, i'm supposed to be flying back to Greece on the 26th of January but I still have the old style Greek passport I heard they don't accept anymore, but where do I go to renew it and does anybody have any idea how long it takes? just hope there's some way to fast-track it or something..

  1. no, you may not fly without a passport, emergency # laissez passer # are rarely given,only in emergency; your passport is no longer valid you are correct and since 2006;

  2. You don't necessarily need a passport to fly back to your home country. If it'll take more than 4 weeks to get a new passport. You can get a document from your Greece Embassy in England that will allow you to fly back to Greece.
