  1. You are always going to be you no matter what other people think. If you want to change your drinking habits and the way you act around others, good for you. It takes time for people to notice the good things about people. If you do one thing bad one time, they remember forever, but try to turn it all around and it takes time for people to notice. Just keep on keeping on and others will notice. You notice you have changed and that is all that matters.

  2. It will take time. Just do what you know to do is right, and try not to worry about what others think. Either they'll come around or they won't. Nothing to do with you.  What they think of you is none of your business. It's what YOU think of you that matters.

  3. Stop associating yourself with anything having to do with your old life. Get new friends, dress differently, talk differently, etc etc etc. Never let yourself slide back into your old ways or else everyone will think you are just putting on an act and don't really want to change. Good luck and good for you.

  4. ok, well you have to remember that it took time to get the reputation and it will take time to change it, you have to prove to people that you are willing to change and are really trying, cutting down on drinking isnt going to do it, you have to walk away from it, and get new friends. it will take time, I have been there, believe me its hard but worth it.

  5. Sorry to tell you this but if you stay in the same area there will always be people who have that belief about you.  However, the people who matter, those in your life, over time will see that you have changed your ways and will forget the way you used to be.  You are showing tremendous maturity to have "woken up" at such a tender age.  Don't worry so much what other people think of you - have respect for yourself and that of others will follow.

  6. Usually first looks give that first impression, it's true if someone is wearing a hoodie someone will think they're up to no good. But you know that's how we all are.

    Change the way you wear

Tell your friends that you've definatly changed, their opinions are what truly matters anywho

How about cutting down totally on drink that shows you are totally commited to stop

  7. I’ll give you a tenner if we can hook up, you’re all legal and above, right? Email me baby, i'll make it worth your while !
