there is only 2 way, either u ignore them or live with them. learn to be independant n u will understand the complications of life, accomodate them , then I am sorry that u will be a slave to them

Well you need to realize that some people are just going to be selfish no matter how hard you may try to help them.  It`s pretty sad actually, I use to have this good friend but I realized how selfish she was, and I had to stop talking with her because she started to really frustrate me.  And after telling her about her problem, she couldn`t face it.. Some people are better left alone.

I always feel that one should always be nice.  

I had bad experience before.   Whenever I wasat this particular big shop, the cashiers or salesassistants never smile.  So I always smile and it took a few months but everyone started smiling too.  The incident didn't happen in Singapore, ;)

These people are just acting this way for they feel insecure that others may win them in one way or the other. There is no need to crack your brains to learn how to deal with them nor be upset with their behaviour. Someone elses (perhaps those who are more selfish) shall help to deal with them. Meanwhile, stay cool! Sympathise them as they don't know how to love, share and care. :-)

Don't be so giving...seriously they'll just keep on taking.  You need to know when to draw the line and cut your losses.  Walk away and if that's not an option because it's a family member....then just STOP giving them stuff to take...in the literal and non-literal sense.
