How 2 get back my guns and points in mgs4 ? ( ps3 )?

i have finished the game once and started a new game. i want my guns and points back. i did read somewhere that we could get it back by doing something in the game.

After you have completed the game you should have a save file called; End or something like that. You should load it up

then you are prompted to choose a difficulty, you get all your items and guns later in the middle-east when you meet ip with the Mark-2.

When you start up a new game from loading the epilogue end. Meet up with Octacon and the MKII. Then you will get your items back.

Cause then all you have to do is wait till you get the MK.II

In order to do this you would have needed to have done 2 things.

1. Successfully completed the game.

2. Watched the Epilogue, end credits, then save the game when prompted at the very end. This would have generated a save file called "Epilogue - The End"

To start a new game and get your items, weapons and Drebbin points back, load the "Epilogue- The End" save file, and you will be prompted to select your difficulty level, do so and play the game as normal, once you meet up with Otacon and the MKII in Act 1, you will receive everything you completed the game with back.
