  1. If you look on the one travel website, it will calculate your journey ie where you need to change etc like that, quite simple and straight forward to use.

I dont know about costs but the site probably has a phone number or something that you could try.

    Have a safe trip!

  2. Go to www.nationalrail.co.uk and use the journey planner. When you have found the times you want you can then look up fare options. You will need to travel via London and transfer from Liverpool Street to Paddington stations using the Circle/Hammersmith and City underground line (or a 205 bus if you can't face the tube!). A through ticket will be valid on the tube.

It is POSSIBLE to depart Colchester going east and travel via Ipswich/Birmingham - but I can't recommend it!

  3. Why you go Cheltenham, it dump, Railway station oldest in Cuntery it build 1740 it 100 years old wen railway build,  and they hate black peoples, Conservative haf saf seet dere so dey putting up John Taylor, mighty fine men vere clever vere high educate been Heaton school but he black ace off clubs, and he no voted in, dey electing white Iib dem insted.

    Cheltenham dump.

    You go somewhere else.

  4. You will need a train from Colchester to Birmingham - I'm not sure if there is a direct service, or if you will have to change, possibly at Ipswich. Many trains then from New Street to Cheltenham - journey is about 3 or 4 hours. Fare prices various - saver return is quoted at £118, but two singles might be cheaper. See link

I disagree with David f in suggesting you go via London. It is not going to save any time - in fact doing a check reveals that it will take longer - the journey can be up to 5 hours long using that route. You will still have 3 changes as well.
