How's Cancun weather in late Sept-early Oct?

I'm planning to go there for the fall break with family but kind of unsure about the weather. Is it windy? Rains? Cancun looks so tempting in pics I've seen but I dont know what time of year those pics were taken.Anybody there with the facts please answer. Will really appreciate it.

Cancún's weather is always the same. Cancún is located in a tropical climate. The average temps. are always 85-95 F. during the day and at night it's always around 70 F. It' vary rarely gets below 70.

The hottest months are from April to Sept. and more moderate temps. are from Nov. to Feb.

The time you are going will be very nice.  If it does rain, it usually never rains for more than 20 minutes and a lot of the times the sun is still shinning while it rains...known as sun showers.  I visit Cancún all the time as for I own a condo here and stay usually a week at a time and it never rains more than once for the whole week that I am here. It will be hurricane season, but you shouldn't have anything to worry about. The rest of Sept. looks free and clear from hurricanes. So, don't let people scare you about that. The last hurricane to hit Cancún was in 2005 and before that one there hasn't been one to hit in almost 20 yrs.

It will be gorgeous in Cancún during the time you are visiting. Have a blast!!!

i hope the weather is nice because im going sept. 27- oct. 1st... from what ive heard & read online, even though it is hurricane season, cancun doesnt usually get hit...

ill be keeping my fingers crossed, too!!!
