How's Tampa?

I live in Tampa. I grew up in small towns in New England and I like how everything is really close by to me now!  Its right between Orlando and Clearwater too which is good if you wanted to go to one for the day, you would get there in less than 1 hr. There are a lot of good restaurants in Tampa plus they have Ybor city which has a bunch of good bars and nightlife!

There are of some course some areas that are bad, but you would find that in any city though. The traffic sucks, because the Tampa Bay area is very populated, but I don't mind.

The weather is great. Rains a lot in the summer, and you have a chance of a hurricane, but Tampa hasn't had a direct head on hit since 1921!

I love it here!

Tampa is what  some would call O.K. Tampa downtown is one thing, but the Tampa bay area is a huge section of Florida encompassing many small towns and municipality's. You don't mention what you are looking for  but nightlife, we have Ybor,  though the term Ybored to death is a common phrase in the area. There is much money to be spent in the area, much the same as any big city we have a few massive ghetto's  as well.
