How's information science engineering as a branch as compared to computer science engineering ?

I wanted to know whether IS as a branch is as good as CS or ECE ? I wanted to have more insight on this branch of engineering.

Don't kid yourself.  IS is not engineering!

There are a lot of made up courses these days to try and make people take a lower road in education.  Engineering is a hard degree.  There are many who want to be engineers without having to do the work, like the Electronics Engineering Technology programs that graduate technically useless people who were deceived into the program.

Almost every country, especially the USA has a lack of real engineers to do the work necessary to advance their societies.  They increasingly depend upon less trained, poorly educated college graduates that depend upon the work of foreign engineers.

Don't fall for it.  Major in a true engineering degree.  The sweat and sacrifice is well worth it!  We fellow engineers need it, our employers need it, and our country needs it.

Don't fall for the programs that are certainly not designed by engineers but "educators" who know nothing about real life!

decide ur branch acc to ur intrest  . if u have intrest in cse go for it  else  ece ,. supppose if u take computer science bt u have intrest in ece and then u score bad marks in cse . then their is no use of taking cse . opt that branch in which u think that u can deal with it in better way . if u will go acc to ur intrest then u will have good base of marks also .
