  1. Italians are very friendly. The food? THE FOOD? Its amazing, where I go every summer, they eat a lot of orecchiette pasta, eggplant parmigiana, mozzarella(of course), olive oil and bread.. ect. Food anywhere in Italy is yummy, even at the Autogrills on the side of the high ways.

If you go to the Vatican be sure to wear long pants and sleeves that cover your shoulders. Otherwise, you can't go in. But they do sell pants at stands for tourists who dont know this. (Uncomfortable.) Go to the top! Its beautiful, you can see all of Rome.

  2. well, i live in sicily and although the people can be rude (and the driving here is an extreme sport!) it's a beautiful place. i live in a small town on mt Etna, but the beaches on the eastern coast (like Siracusa, for example) are lovely, and it's sunny most of the time even in winter... i'd recommend it! the ideal months to go are may, june, semptember, october and even november.

(never go in july - august  cos the temperature gets VERY high!!!)

ps. the food is fresh and cheap!

  3. Italy is just a fantastic place. Well, right now I'm in Milan and I'm planning to visit Florence and Venice today. My few frndz have been to Venice and they say that it's just awesome. If u stay in a nice hotel, u'll have many good things to eat. But u first need to know some common Italian words if u wanna visit Italy.
