  1. its god playing with electricity when hes pissed

  2. there are many different forms. there is cloud to cloud lightening and cloud to ground lightening. theres always free energy (electrons and neutrons) around getting passed from one molecule to the next. the lighening is based off of positive charges connect with negative charges on the ground (cloud to ground lightening). that is why people advice you stay away from metals during a storm.

  3. Lightning is produced in thunderstorms when liquid and ice particles above the freezing level collide, and build up large electrical fields in the clouds. Once these electric fields become large enough, a giant "spark" occurs between them, like static electricity, reducing the charge separation. The lightning spark can occur between clouds, between the cloud and air, or between the cloud and ground.

  4. it"s due to the protons and electons' movement within in the clouds.

lightening is a dazzling bluish white light produced in the clouds.

    how do clouds get charged?

due to the heat of the sun, the warm air rises up.similarly, the cold air from above sinks down . when the air molecule or the cold currents of air rub against the hot currents of the air get transffered to water molecules or vice versa. ALL THIS DEPENDS ON THE ATMOSPHERIC CONDITIONS.

    I think dat'as enuf!
