How's my 2008 fantasy football team?

Question

Here's the positions for my league: 1 QB, 3 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 6 BN, 1 K, and 1 DEF

QB: Peyton Manning (colts)

WR: Reggie Wayne (colts)

WR: Plaxico Burress (giants)

WR: Hines Ward (steelers)

RB: Jonathan Stewart (panthers and rookie)

RB: Maurice Morris (seahawks)

TE: Dallas Clark (colts)

BN: Eli Manning (giants and my backup QB)

BN: Rashard Mendenhall (steelers and rookie RB)

BN. Shaun McDonald (detroit WR)

BN. James Hardy (Bills rookie WR)

BN: Chester Taylor (Vikings RB)

BN: Felix Jones (Dallas rookie RB)

K: Stephen Gostkowski (patriots)

DEF: New England Patriots

okay, how's my team. should i trade anybody or drop anybody. right now i'm also thinking of dropping felix jones to get Courtney Taylor of the seahawks or jabar gaffney of the patriots. THANKS

Good team...Unlike some talk going on I believe Manning will still have a solid season.

As for your RBs, Stewart will be on the short end of the carries and Morris is on a pass oriented offense (although they do promise to run the ball more).  You have a lot of rookies on your team, and you're a little short on RBs.  I suggest you get one solid back.

drop felix jones and pick up jaar gaffney

and i give you a A-A+ on QB and WR. you might look to trade for a top RB with some upside. like michael turner or julius jones who the starter in seattle.

Stewart will be splitting carries. So he wont get as many touches. You need to upgrade at RB. But everything else looks good.

Im guessing this is 12 player league.  Your really solid in all the positions except the most important which is running back.  You are going to struggle all season, with those rbs.  Steward is already hurting with a banged up toe and Deangelo is the starter and is actually looking good so far.  As for maurice, Julius should be the starter, but both are going to split carries.  Mendenhall may become the td back for the steelers, but again a split carry situation.  Chester is going to lose all carries to AP, only play to give AP a break or if AP gets hurt, and Felix is in the same boat.  honestly, I give your team a rating of C, because of your rb situation.  And you really dont have a lot fo work with on the bench to really improve you rb situation either so Im not sure how you can go about upgrading.  I think you best bet may be to go the wille parker owner, Julius jones owner, or AP owner and try and swing a deal.  But with those running back you not going to make the playoffs.

You are hurting on RB's. Other than that, your team looks pretty good.
