  1. oh; a month?

    pretty good.

  2. not bad... of course there's stuff you should work on and improve but you just started a month ago so it's not like anyone expects you to be perfect at this point. i've been bboying for almost 2 years and there's stuff i need to work on too. there's always something you can improve on no matter how long you've been bboying for.

so here's some things to keep in mind when you're looking for stuff to work on:

-more varied toprocks and footworks... obviously since you just started, you don't know many moves but as you learn more, add them in and don't be afraid to be original and create your own steps too.

-transitioning into your freezes (and other moves)... this one's a pain. transitions are really hard for some moves but they make your sets look so much better.

-chair freeze... maybe you just lost your balance transitioning into it or you don't have it down 100% just yet. it just looked like you were having some trouble with it or something so work on improving this freeze (hint: you elbow should be stabbed in your back (get used to it now and it'll make airchairs a teensie bit easier) and your stomach should be facing the ceiling).

-arms in your toprock... it looked like you didn't really know what to do with your arms. you can do whatever you want with them. just make sure to include them because it really adds to your individual style.

-and of course, keep working on your windmills :) (haha those are a pain aren't they... just keep practicing them, it looks like you're getting pretty close)

i know it seems like a lot of stuff to work on but it's not like you need to do this all at once. just keep working on this a little at a time (along with other moves and stuff you wanna learn) and you'll gradually improve as a bboy. i'm self taught for the most part so i know how helpful it can be to have some stuff to work on from a viewer's point of view. it may be hard to accept critisism but it benefits you in the end. but like i said before, for someone who's only been bboying a month, you're doing pretty good.

just keep practicing :) best of luck!

  3. your what?
