How's the David Copperfield trick work where you pick acard without clicking on it or anything & it goes away?

you don't click on it or anything ...you just look at it and then scroll down a little and the card is gone...you can even do it again on the same page and the next card you chose disappears too.How does this happen ? Does anyone know at all ?

look at the cards on the top and the cards on the bottom none of them are the same there all different cards i mean the cards on the top are all different from the ones on the bottom
