    the whole island of Ireland is Called Eire but i know what you mean the relationship between the republic of Ireland and northern Ireland it is good it has not been better for many long and hard years i will admit even doe the worst is over and done with there is just a few things to be done its all plane sailing sailing and if you were worried about coming here over the troubles you no longer need be even doe you still had no worries in the pass

  4. There was never much of a problem between the republic and Northern Ireland.  The problem was within Northern Ireland.

  5. Just to be clear Eire means the whole country, you mean the republic of Ireland (ROI). Its not the North that we had a problem with, it was the English in the north. Nowadays its fine people go back and forth to both the north and the republic with no problems.
