How's the traffic in houston city?

If I live at sugarland, tx and find a job around Galleria area during traffic area in the morning, how long will it take to drive over? Is freeway 59 the best route? Sorry. I’m from Hawaii….

59 is the best route.I just got back from sitting in 30 minutes of traffic.I live 45 miles north of H-Town.

59 is the best route, and it will probably take you 30 to 40 minutes on any given day. Closer to 40. Most of your traffic problems will be at the Tollway (Beltway 8) interchange and near the Galleria. The exit for Loop 610 also backs up, according to my wife.

Public transport might be an option if you are from out of town and do not have a car.
