Question:

How's the weather in Cancun in Jan,Feb or March?

I'm planning on taking a vacation to Cancun Mexico in the begining of next year and I'm not sure if it will be hot enough. Does anyone have any idea if that is an okay time to travel out there being that in CA its winter. Please let me know.. I don't want to have a freezing trip.. thanks!!!

If you check the temperatures there you will find that they don't change much throughout the year. We stayed in the last week of February and it was great. Mid to high 80's daytime and 70's at night. The sun can be quite intense though, pack that sunscreen or buy some when you arrive. You probably will have a rainy day but, hey, it's better than during hurricane season!

January: 28 degrees. In the water: 24 degrees.

February-march: 29 degrees. In the water: 25 degrees

In the wintermonths the temperate is about 26 degrees.

Either of those months are good choices, but March is the best month. March is my favorite month here. The weather is perfect and the water has warmed enough to swim. Water tends to be a bit cool in January and February. Go with March....warm and breezy.....beautiful.

i check it out today and it is 79 degrees and rain all week  go to this site and see for yourself.

I myself will be going to Riviera maya on the seond weke of Jan 08 and i am from Quebec area.

I think you will have warmer weather in February or March.

The more south you go, the warmer it will be be. Check out the Riviera Maya area too.

The temps will range from the 80's during the day to high 60's at night. You could get some rain which makes it feel cooler. Weather is unpredictable. You never know.
