How's the weather in Cancun right now?

I leave for Cancun on Monday and I have been checking the extended weather forecasts... Looks like rain... How is the weather now. Maybe someone that lives there can help me out. I'm bummed!!

We just got back from the Riviera Maya yesterday, and it is HOT.  We were near Tulum (about an hour and a half south of Cancun), and it also called for rain.  The only time we had rain was while we were visiting Chichen Itza on Saturday, and it was sporadic.  While we were at the hotel, we had no rain -- a few dark clouds, a little thunder and lightning, but no rain.

Don't be bummed out; it's the rainy season, so it may rain off and on, but it's definitely not going to stay that way.  Just wear a lot of sunscreen and reapply frequently; unless you live in a humid climate, you'll sweat it off.

Insanely hot and humid.... gaaaah! No air! Always occasional rain storms this time of year, but usually you'll be lucky and they'll be overnight! Trust me, you'll be glad of them to clear the air! Have fun!

Looks like you're in for rain and temps in the mid-80s F. But like the other post said, Caribbean rain usually doesn't last long.

Not to worry it's 87 degrees right now with scattered clouds. Feels like 93 degrees.

Stop watching the weather, it is what it is. One thing about the weather in the Caribbean and tropics, it rains for 10 minutes and then it's over.

Bring insect repellent with deet and plenty pf sunscreen, that's more important.

I'm going to cancun monday too!  I too have been watching their weather.  I hope it won't rain.
