  1. july-mid september is beautiful and warm. October-end of January are kinda cold. and yes in the heart of vancouver there are some AMAZING shopping venues. take it from a shopping fanatic!

  2. I am a former chef and worked in both Vancouver and Victoria BC at one time, from July to January you can experience all types of weather, a bit cooler at times then eastern Canada or the US and nice in the afternoons, it cools a bit at night, mainly because of the mountians.

As for highend store the answer is "Yes", store like Holt Renfrew, The Bay, Sears and other smaller more intimate places and Vancouver is considered a fashion mecca.

  3. Hot to cold. In that order....

  4. From July to January, you will basically experience every bit of Vancouver weather.  July Aug Sept run 65 to 80 with little rain.  October gets cooler but a beautiful month here - maybe 55 to 70.  November is rainy almost every day and can be torrential - still not cold, 50's?  December is really a mixed bag - seems to have less rain than November, but we can have high wind and even snow.  January tends to be coolest month, but it doesn't often go to freezing here.  Having said all that - who the heck knows what the weather is doing anywhere these days!!  As far as shops, we do not have a lot of American stores, but we have excellent shopping with very high quality merchandise.
