  1. Hottest time will be June in Hanoi, May in the Centre, January in Ho Chi Minh City. As such, although August is hot and humid, it's not bad time to visit Vietnam. Beautiful beaches in Vietnam will make the heat not as bad as it could be. Phan thiet, Phu quoc, Nha trang, and Danang beaches are to name a few. Enjoy your visit. You will not be disappointed.

  2. August in Hanoi is h**l, in Saigon it could be milder, but beware of the hurricanes!

  3. No matter what time of the year you visit Vietnam you will enjoy yourself.  We are going to be in the Central and North in June and if like last year it will be hot and humid.  Cold drinks under a shade tree by a river watching the world go by with friends and or relatives, who cares about the weather.  Have a good time.  Cheers.

  4. R...A...I...N and R...A...I...N

  5. u need to prepare riancoat or umbrella, cuz this is a rain season. the weather is ok, not hot not cold

    Have a nce trip

  6. Normally the weather in Vietnam differentiates among locations. However, in August it's the same througout the country: HOT and WET.

The tempurature in August may get up to 38oC. In the North (Hanoi and surroundings) the humidity is emtremely high under the hot, so it would be quite suffering during the day, especially midday and afternoon. In the South (Saigon), it is rainy season so can be cooler.

But you can still enjoy your holidays in Vietnam since there are lots of things to do to deal with the weather. Do not forget to spend your days in the best beaches of the earth and never forget to drink "bia hoi".

If you wanna escape from the hot, take a tour to mountainous Sapa or Dalat. Unforgetable dishes for your eyes guaranteed.
