  1. We have very different weather in Australia in different places.

For a start, the further north you go, thee warmer the average temperatures are. Since those places are closer to the equator, it's either sunny or storming most of the time (tropical weather). Places such as Cairns in Queensland and Darwin in the Northern Territory have this weather.

It's a different story if you go south to places such as Sydney. The weather is mild there. Melbourne, however, is a bit extreme, where the weather can change rapidly. Further south to Tasmania, it's freezing there. Temperatures hardly reach over 20.

In Central Southern Australia (Adelaide), the weather is very hot and dry. Summer temperatures can reach over 40 easily.

In Perth, Western Australia, the weather there is average but it can also get a bit hot there too. Same with Western Australia, the further north you go, the warmer it gets.

Inland cities such as Canberra is well known for their extreme weather where it can get either freezing or boiling. In winter, the temperatures can reach minus there.

We also don't have much snow.

    Hope this helps.

  2. Hobart (Tasmania) is a beautiful place with four seasons and cooler weather than the rest of Australia - warm summers and cool winters. There are no cities with snow. Hobart is a smaller city and a bit quieter.

  3. You won't get snow in any city. Australia has much less extreme weather. If you want snow you have to go up the mountains to a ski resort. There some in Victoria and New South Wales.

Melbourne experience all four seasons in one day, the weather is very unpredictable. They have colder winters and hotter summers.

Sydney is much more mild in the weather, its warm in summer and cool in winter, no great extreme temperatures.

So if you want to visit the snow, they are your only real choices. There are excellent Uni's in both NSW and VIC.

  4. Eastern Victoria

Eg: Lakes Entrance, Mansfield, Lake Tyers
