How's the weather in geneva (switzerland)?

i'm going to geneva in the 7th of august and i want to know how's the weather gonna be to what to wear and what not to wear =D help plz

August is summer in Switzerland. But the weather is going crazy all over the world, and in Switzerland is not different... it might be cloudy and cold and even rainy and it might be very,  nice, sunny and hot. One summer you can barely wear a skirt and the year after, you see on the news that older European people die because of the hit. Having said that, I would suggest you to take summer clothes, but include few pairs of long pants, and some light jackets if you just go to Geneva. If you plan to go to the mountains, you should have winter shoes and winter jackets as well as sunscreen because the sun is very strong up there. Take a bikini or two as well, as there are nice lakes around the city, or better say across the country. It-s a nice season to visit Switzerland. Have fun.
