How's the weather there in January?

I may go there on a cruise with my friends on my birthday on January. Is it still warm there? Can we still go swimming? Will the water be warm?

we have vacationed in Cabo many times- love Cabo Surf Hotel- its always been warm, not hot hot hot, but warm in the winters. You can easily swim, the evenings cool down a bit, sweaters and jeans are good. Man  I miss Cabo... almost time to come back for a little R&R...

Hola!  I'm a canadian living in Cabo, so for me January is smoking hot!! (compared to home of course)  I swim in the ocean in Jan, and at night I sometimes have to wear a sweater and jeans, but its never unbearable (for me).  I would recommend bringing with you a few warmer things to wear on deck at night, but during the day you should be okay with shorts and t's.
