How's this for a great idea for a theme park/holiday resort?

You turn up and what it is, is a place set in another period of history.

You get a chance to escape the modern world and all its Facebooks, mobile phones, text messages, oil wars, and credit crunches and you get to stay in one of 5 different resorts - 80s, 70s, 60s, 50s and World War Two.

So if you chose to stay for 2 weeks in the 70s, you get 70s programmes on the tv, 70s music on the radio. The decor in your apartment will be from the 70s. The food will be from the 70s.

The kids get to leave the house at the crack of dawn and come back as night falls. They don't have computers just bicycles and skateboards. It'd be great.

It's definitely different. is this for your own hotel or something? I think it would be interesting as a theme park. maybe, but everything would have to be very legit. I think it's interesting, but i'm not sure how popular it would be.
