How 3d is journey to the center of the earth?

Well, is it like spy kids 3 where the things on the screen didn't even come near your face, or is it like real "3d" where the affects are infront of you/

I saw the movie last night, and I thought it was amazing. It was definately more of a "real 3D" movie. The effects were right in front of you, and you feel like your actually in the movie. Its worth the money. I saw this with my dad and sister, and all three of us liked it.
