  1. Hey, who couldn't use another TV? Don't pass up the bargain.

  2. Hi,

Well, CRT tvs are good. If you are considering for a tv at this time of the decade there are few things that you must know. If you are in the US, you know that its going to be all DTV (Digital tv) by next year. I am in Canada by the way. All the tv's being manufactured after 2005 or 2006 I believe has got a build in tuner for DTV. That way you wont be needing any external DTV tuners. So I dont think old CRT tvs is a good idea at this day. If you are into CRT tv like me, why don't you consider getting a CRT rear projection big screen tv. They are the cheapest as of now plus they are HDTV's not just CRT Standard tv. So go around and look if it is worth getting a 27ich tv or a 52 inch CRT rear projection tv for double the price of the 27 inch. The 27 inch is not even High Definition. I personally believe that RCA makes good CRT rear projection tvs for affordable prices. See in Canada, when you buy a new HDTV you get a 1 year free HD channel package and free settop box from Rogers Cable. After 1 year you have to pay the regular prices. If you are not residing in Canada, you migh have some deal like this in your area too, so find out from the retailer. Its totally up to you though, if you like the Sony one, go for it. But I have given you my opinion.

Hope this will help you make a decision.

    Good luck!

  3. they are so excellent! but dont expect them to last a lifetime either because theyre so old.
