How BCCI recomends M.S Dhoni for "Rajib Gandhi KhelRatna" award ahead of Anil Kumble ? Is it not ridiculous ?

i don't know why BCCI is doing this...

we have Anil Kumble (10 wicket in an innings & highest wicket taker for India), Rahul Dravid (3rd Indian to score 10000+) & Ganguly (2nd Indian to score 10000+)...

STILL Dhoni was recommended....

well it is not rediculous if u see the history u will be able to see the goodcaptancy ms dhoni infact he is so cool in the field.he is not showing his nervous or tension in the field.he was not so nervous when pakistan came so near to win the final of 2020 and he is not feeling angry when a player is doing a mistake.he is advicing them with a smile in his face this makes the other players to be tension free.this is

one of the rare charecter among the player.

there are so many reasons like

winning the 2020 worldcup without seniors

winning cbseries in australia

went up to final in the ind-pak-ban triseries

&asiacup final

and above all levelling the testseries against sa

i think dhoni deserves it

Anil Kumble is a good bowler. He should have been honoured when he returned from Aust. a couple of years earlier, when he was on top.

But it is Dhoni just now who regained India's glory for India .

First the WC T20 .

Australia - Tri Series.

He brought back the Trophy on 2 occasions.

He is a good Captain.

Today he proved that on the field and as a Captain against SL.

It is just not a recommendation, it has already been announced.

I did feel it was too early for Dhoni. He is very young. BCCI shpuld have waited. but their President is changing. Also, it is for the World Cup win.

BCCI has nothing to do with these kind of decison because BCCI thinks everything with commercial point of view and for them Dhoni is better business prospects that Kumble who has given 20 years to Indian Cricket.  Its all about money, honey.

BCCI is insane! That's all. It makes no sense whatsoever, when the true performers like Kumble, who is the highest wicket taker of India and some other seniors who have served the Indian team so well for a long time are neglected and a newcomer like Dhoni who is yet to prove his prowess in international cricket is chosen for the most prestigious sporting honour in the country namely the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award. Dhoni still has a long way to go before he truly deserves that award.

It's not only a ridiculous decision on the part of BCCI, but  an unfortunate one as well, because they chose to reward the undeserver, when there are so many legendary cricketers, who are yet to be given a proper recognition for their contribution to Indian cricket.
