  1. Actually, I've heard that the human brain is an average of 3 pounds....and that the larger your brain, the smarter you are....AND that doing brain stimulating activities such as reading, games and general constant learning keeps you're brain strong and sharp..........so that would be my answer in regards to the size of your brain.

With that said....I don't know how large Einsteins brain was, but we all know how exceptional he was. I have also heard that he had a bit of autism.....so I tend to think that you can't generalize the size of the brain because each section does different things. It has been said that he was lacking in some parts of his brain, and that other parts of his brain were larger.

Some people will be more developed in one part of their brain than others, which may make them either a genius, or autistic.....or is that one in the same?

    Big question, huh?!

I'm giving you a star for an interesting question. :)

  2. The brain is the most complex organ in the human body. It produces our every thought, action, memory, feeling and experience of the world. This jelly-like mass of tissue, weighing in at around 1.4 kilograms, contains a staggering one hundred billion nerve cells, or neurons.

The complexity of the connectivity between these cells is mind-boggling. Each neuron can make contact with thousands or even tens of thousands of others, via tiny structures called synapses. Our brains form a million new connections for every second of our lives. The pattern and strength of the connections is constantly changing and no two brains are alike.

Researchers came to the point that Einstein had a smallish brain. Most commentators place it "within the average range," but at 1,230 grams.

  3. my brain is the size of a walnut :D

  4. you can certainly measure the size of

a brain - how would you intend to measure

    the complexity of one?

  5. firstly it is impossible to say it is big or complex because it always improves(depends on what you do)

secondly einstein doesnt hve a bigger brain but his brain was rich in one kind of braincell(it is because of his hard work not only becauuse of his genes.)

  6. Einstein was smart but he was also lucky in that he had a very boring job (patent office clerk).

You can see that when people are bored for hours they can work on some big projects and do things that look like genius feats -- like prison art, etc...

Intelligence is different from accomplishment.  Einstein was probably not more intelligent than some of his colleagues.

In fact, you could be smarter than Einstein and not know it!

Maybe the word you are looking for is how ordered is your brain.  If your brain is wired in a certain way, you can do certain tasks much more quickly than others.  Your brain can be as big and as complex as you like and it will not guarantee anything.
