How Bad Cedar Point on July 4th?

Me and my friends are gonna go to Cedar Point on July 4th...I was wondering...how busy is it gonna be?? How long will the lines be?? Ohh..there is a 60% chance of rain on that day...will that cause some to not go?? Thanks!

In my experience, most people tend to ignore the weather report. For those who live in the midwest (I, myself, used to be one of them) they know the weatherman/woman isn't always right. Either that or they're simply hoping luck is on their side.

With July 4th being a holiday you can bet its going to be packed! June, July, & August are the parks busiest months and throwing in a holiday where people will be off work only adds to the summers craziness.

Lines with be longer and you'll have to wait them out. The end of the days fireworks are amazing and well worth the crazy lines you'll be fighting to see them :D

I worked at cedar point 5 years in a row. July 4th is very packed. People don't care about the weather trust me! ... oh and they have fireworks too, it's pretty but to me not worth the crowds... Also, i would suggest leaving before closing, or you will be stuck in the parking lot madhouse for HOURS. no exaggeration. Good luck.. try and have fun !!! :-)

People are going no matter what I'm sure.  Ohio weather is crazy, and it rains when they say it won't, and doesn't when they say it will.  If it does rain, it may clear out a bit, but that's it.  I went to Cedar Point near 4th of July and it was so busy we only rode a few rides once, because we waited so long in line.  Expect to wait anywhere from 1 to 2 hours.  Maybe more, maybe less.  That's how long we had to wait.  Plus they have fireworks on the 4th so.... they will be very busy.  I hate the crowds there, it is horrible.  Next time, try going in May or September.  Those are the two best months to go.
