How Big Of Tank ( Aquarium) for My Ball Python When he Becomes an Adult?

i have a 6-8 month old in a 20 gallon long.... but my gramma wants to get me a new tank. i waant her to get me one that will last fer life

any help wht do your adult ball pythons live in - i only have 1 ball python.

plz answere in gallons or dimensions dimensions prefered

  1. For a female, she would do nicely in a 40-55 gallon long/breeder tank. Humidity and temperature might be a bit harder to mantain, but as females are larger they shouldn't be put in small tanks.

    45 Long 48" x 12 3/4" x 17"

    50 Long 48" x 18" x 13"

    Dimmensions of tanks however, vary with their overall shape. I have display tanks that are 30 gallons, and are less tall,  yet longer than a 38 gallon.
