  1. I think you'd be surprised at how many dogs are willing to do that.  My dog always comes to my rescue when my boyfriend and I are playing, and whenever I'm attacked by the geese she'll stay by my side and chase them off.

Perhaps we should do some research - set a load of grumpy kangeroos on all dog owners and see how many come to their masters rescue?

  2. Don't underestimate huskies, read White Fang... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Fang

    That dog is very brave.

  3. Sibes are prey driven

they may have eaten it ;)

  4. Very brave, good on him. I do miss having a dog, they are so loyal and loving.

  5. Brave pooch! but dogs are know for their loyalty; not so common in humans though..:)

  6. This poor woman is very lucky to be alive. Kangaroos may look lovely, but they can be extremely aggressive.

Here is a link to the local news

She is lucky she had a brave dog like a Kelpie with her. We have an old Kelpie Cross and he is as gentle as a lamb, but he has bailed people up more than once when they shouldn't have been on our property.

  7. aaw that brings back images of my childhood when my dog use to walk beside me, he took me to school walked me to the store or corner bus station...he was awesome dog...if anyone would get near me he would bark hes head off very over protected...

He also walked me to work when i got my first job....I miss him...

anywho  roo's could be vicious kinda like this site...but there is always someone to protect you..

aww why do i always get thumbs dumb down and violations on CE :(

  8. Very brave indeed.  Similar thing in Spain.  A man was attacked by a bull and his dog  attacked the bull saving the owner from certain death.

Years ago I was with my two very young daughters taking a walk in some woods in Essex. My daughters were then 4 and 1.  Suddenly I saw ppearing some 20 yards from us

4 or 5 bulls walking slowly towards us.   I didn't realize at first they were cows and not  BULLS... Imagine my panic, with two little kids and trying to save them and myself from 4 or 5 bulls attacking.   We had our Alsatian dog ('Nero') with us at the time who sensed my fear and immediately started chasing the BULLS  (yeah, right). COWS  away.  I have never been so scared in my life until then or since.  "This is it" -- was my feeling !!!

  9. What pray tell is Husky trash?  I take it you don't like Huskies.  This dog is very brave.  Dogs of all breeds have different personalities just like humans.  Look at the humans that have ran back into a burning building to rescue a stranger and those that just stand around watching.  There are dogs that are scared-e dogs and those that are not.  Sounds like you are breed prejudiced.

  10. THAT DOG WAS REALLY BRAVE! THAT IS COOOOOOOOL! THAT DOG SHOULD GET A MEDAL AND THAT KANGAROO SHOULD GET A SPANKING!

  11. looks like a frog in drag.

  12. I don't think dogs really have a concept of bravery, but some are, by their very nature or breed, more likely to do acts that we humans would consider brave.

Huskies are pack dogs and excel in stamina and loyalty.

Pretty vague story for the BBC, but just look at that kangaroo.  I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him!

  13. i think the kangeroo was very brave i mean it didnt know if she had a gun or a knife on her person and attacked anyway.

humans normally make most animals leg it

  14. A very brave pouch.  As for Huskys - not keen mainly because you can see their bottom hole on show - I don't like that about some dogs.  My cocker spaniel would never be that crass.

  15. Erm thats a kangaroo........

  16. I would'nt think that many huskies would actually come into contact with a kangaroo anyway!

  17. Very brave since Kangaroo's do have a dislike for another canine (dingo) are known to kill dingo's so he is a brave dog.

  18. Very brave perhaps he fancied a kangaroo steak for dinner
