i think you will see that behind all the noise in the transfer window he did make a few signings. admittedly not household names.

but the man knows what he is doing.he has put a few out on loan who will experience from more games and bring them back when and if ready.

i don't think arsene controls the purse strings - do you?

if things aren't going well by january, then i think he will be given money

for another striker.

i'm not arsenal , but they will always be there.

I'm not even an arsenal fan and i can answer this... why you cant i don't know.

Arsenal are still paying off their stadium, Arsene had little to NO spending money.

Arsene should get credit for managing to keep a lot of players links with moves... his fans should not be criticising him for not spending when he doesn't have the money available to do so.

EDIT - What money? from where?... you are still making payments on a brand new stadium, your owners do not have exceptional wealth or spare cash to throw at players.

Fans like you are so fickle, throw a 20m transfer and you're happy.

@ Sanders - you are wrong, and it shows that your not an Arsenal supporter or you would know.

Arsene believes in the team he has at the moment and didnt think (during the transfer window) that he needed to buy anymore players than who he did over the Summer, he believes in the team he has created is good enough.

He WAS offered money by the "men upstairs" at Arsenal to buy if he so wished, that is how a club should be run, by the manager and not by the board, this is how Arsenal do buy and sell players - through Arsene Wenger. The Emirates Stadium did not stop money being available to buy more players.

Whatever money is or isnt available at any club does not buy goals, does not buy games, does not buy leagues, does not buy silverwear.

I have total faith in Arsenal, always have done always will do, and i do believe they can compete with anyone this season and be successful.

arsene is a lot smarter than the rest,because you have lotsofmoney it doesn't make you clever,so he can easily compete with the rest besides they all want to beat the arsenal so that they can measure their own progress.it's a case of can they compete with us if they didn't have all that money

I think that Arsenal are a team that will always be great....Their squad is strong and have good goalscorers and also a new addition to the team who has and will score goals..Samir Nasri...

Also Arsenal may spend money in the january transfer window..Arsene Wenger said himself he has another 30million available to spend and that may increase by January...

Arsenal got a good youth system. Look at Wilkshire and Walcott. Maybe Havard and Gavin. They are going to be the next big things in football. Merida too... Money can buy you good world class players but not titles. Good players also must learn how to work with each other well. Look at Arsenal beautiful football, it shows Arsenal bond between every players.

Yet you have a squad full of potential and very good players. You don't have to spend big to be good mate. Players like Nasri, Clichy, Adebayor, Gallas etc.. are very good examples. Great players yet cost an acceptable price.
