I always get calls from Telemarketers on my cell phone and it drives me CRAZY. There is one number in particular that won't leave me alone. They have called me exactly 21 times this month and I have just about had it. I have answered the phone once or twice and told them to stop calling me because I wasn't interested. But they keep calling. I tracked down the number and it was coming from New York. I don't know anyone in New York so I'm positive it's just a d**n telemarketer trying to sell me something. How can I block them?!

  1. Another solution I use is the Panasonic DECT 6.0 cordless phone model KX-TG9333.

This phone can be programmed to Call Block specific phone numbers that you don't want to be bothered by. Block up to 20 separate numbers.

It also has a "Night Mode" that prevents the phone from ringing during late night hours. Just program in the times you don't want to be disturbed while sleeping.  This will keep anyone from calling you at night when you are sleeping.

I think it is great that phone manufacturers are building these features into phones. Now we don't have to pay the phone company more money just to block annoying phone callers.

  2. Get your number onto a no-call list

  3. Register on a Do Not Call (DNC) Register. The FCC levies tens of millions in fines on companies that offend. Use caller ID to get their number and politely get their details. Then report them.

  4. There is a better business beaura in your area can you can contact them and give them the telemarketers phone number and they will handle it. If you have not heard from them call them again because the are very busy. Good luck.

  5. When they call, TELL them to take your name off of their calling list.  By law, they have 3 more chances, after that you can actually press charges, so always ask who is calling and write down the name of comp. and their phone number.

Also, go to this site I've listed for you and find your DO NOT CALL LIST and add your number.  Best Wishes!
