  1. The modern way is to use LED's. Together with rechargeable batteries and it is easy (and no power has to be supplied by your legs!). I have a 53 LED lamp which uses 3 rechargeable AA batteries and on full power will last 2 hours. As well, I use a 5 LED taillight which will last (uses 3 AAA cells) about 12 hours.

It would not be hard to use extra tail lights as stop lights by wiring them to a switch (or two for both brakes) connected using a spring to the brake levers.

  2. Use a flasher relay connected to a three position toggle switch for your directionals.  You will need to install a limit switch for the brakes to push against for the brake light.  The headlight can be pretty much the lens and lamp from any sufficient flashlight.  I recommend using a rechargable battery pack to store energy from the dc generator.

For more info you may want to look at an automotive wiring system.  I included some links for auto electric as well as bicycle systems.

  3. THE PROCESS INVOLVED IN IT IS MAGNATIC INDUCTION

WHEN A COIL IS ROTATED UNDER MAGNATIC FIELD CURRENT WILL BE GENERATED IN IT

SO, TAKING THE ABOVE PRINCIPLE  MAKE IT

IN THE BICYCLE LIGHT SYSTEM THE TWO MAGNETS ARE AT THE BORDER OF CONTAINER AND COILS ARE IN BETWEEN THEM AND CONNECTED TO A WHEEL AND THAT WHEEL IS CONNECTED TO U R CYCLE  TYRE AS TYRE ROTATES WHEEL ROTATES SO, COILS ROTATES AND CURRENT IS GENERATED BY THAT U CAN MAKE LIGHT TO GLOW
