How Can I Construct a Non-Motorized Vehicle That Can Carry Stuff?

I need to build a vehicle that has no motor, and can carry me and a lot of stuff. 400 lb. at least. Don't tell me to buy one. If I had the money to buy one I wouldn't ask this, I would go and buy it.

  1. A horse drawn wagon?

    Good Luck!!

  2. >  build a vehicle that has no motor,

Without a motor, you will be pushing it like Fred Flintstone car.  That's basically a push cart.

    What are you asking?

    Good Luck...

  3. use rope and tie a group of milk crates together and tie  them to a good bike... peddle your 400 lbs anywhere

  4. A trailer behind a bike would do it nicely - unless there are balance questions, etc.  Then perhaps you should mount two bikes together - bolt or weld connecting pieces between two similar bike frames, then build a box between the bike frames to carry the load.  Either connect the two sets of handle bars together, or take off the front wheel of the bike you are not riding and mount the cargobox back a bit to balance the vehicle.

    Good luck.

  5. Add a rack or a small trailer to the back of your bicycle and get pedalling.
