Last year...I believe I called some people who were responsible at working on "identity theft protection plans" for people who are worried about getting their identity stolen. I applied to it and paid the admission for the first month. I am not so sure if I have cancelled the plan a week later or not =-/ (I was on a busy schedule) I don't even recall what their companys name was and I don't have their phone number. I only assume that I am no longer a member and don't owe any money due to the fact that I am not receiving any payments or bills. How can I find out? Any advice/suggestions?

I also applied to some life insurance plan, but I am still unsure whether or not if I cancelled it. How can I find out if I am still applied into these plans without knowing any number or company name. I just don't want to be in debt 10 years later, knowing that I have been applied to all these plans without any payment/bill.

I haven't received any bill/payment in the mail nor any phone calls.

  1. If they are not billing you, phoning you or sending you threatening letter you are not likely to be owing them money.

You could call the credit bureau and see if you have any credit charges.

  3. www.freecreditreport.com

you can get your credit report 3 times a year.   you are able to get your report once a year and since there are three credit reporting agencies you can do each of them, each year.  So every 4 months.
