  1. I'm assuming the number was blocked. There is really no way to tell. Usually people just prank call using a blocked number so I'm sure it's nothing serious.

  2. Try switchboard.com you can do a reverse lookup on there and it will tell you who they are and where they live...I do it all the time.

  3. call them back.

  4. the area code, then check from there.

  5. google the number or call them back?

  6. You can either call them back, look them up on yellowpages.com, or google it. :)

  7. you know where the call came from because it will be affect in you're miss call or in settings you find it if you save the number of you're friend(s) you know who call you.

  8. First call 1471 (UK) or whatever the number is in your region to find out the number that last called you. If you're not sure you can try asking a neighbour or just type in Google ' -your area here- recall number' or the likes.

Once you have that persons number type the first few (4-5) unrecognised digits into Google like so: ' -numbers here- landline area code'.

This should work, I've done it many times.

    Good luck!

  9. Sometimes you can go to a regular browser and look them up.  Sometimes someone else has gotten the same call and has posted what they found.  Be sure to look it up as 800-555-1234 and (800) 555-1234.  Google really is good for this.  Cellphones #'s don't seem to ever come up.

  10. http://www22.verizon.com/utilities/rever...

    verizon reverse number look up.

  11. Check Yellow Pages on line.

  12. If it is a land line, you can just type the number into Google. However, if it is a cell phone, you may have to pay for a service at some sites. I would reccommend trying out Google first.
