How Can I Get A Six Pac And Lose Weight At Same Time?

Im 14 years old and i go to the gym on average 2-3 times a week, i was wondering if i could somehow lose some weight and gain sum muscle as i want to get a 6-pac and there is nothing showing at the min.

please could some one either tell me how to or give me some links

  1. Any muscle building exercise will help you burn fat. Muscle takes extra calories to maintain, so the more muscle you have the more calories you burn AT REST. In general, aerobic exercise burns fat and anaerobic builds muscle, so whatever routine you get into you should incorporate elements of both. As far as a six pack, the only way you get that is with specific, intense ab sculpting exercises, targeting all of the minor ab muscles as well as the major ones. I don't recommed situps because they waste a lot of energy and tend to work your back more tha your abs, but crunches are a great core exercise. Other good ones are obliques, which target the side abs, and pikes or knee raises, which target the lower abs.

    Hello Jonesy;

    Good, you go to a gym. Perfect. Now, you need to follow an overal exercise routine. I presume there is an instructor available who can show you what to do so ask. Explain that you want to develop a six-pack as well, and he will give you some other work-outs to go ahead with. Just by doing these exercises, you will find that you will be losing excess weight. But be kind to yourself. Don't stuff into fatty foods. Meat and vegetables. An icecream is okay, but not two. Try to have fruit juice rather than sugary sweet drinks.

    you will gain health benefits almost immediately, and before long, your chest will expand and your shoulders broaden. Your waist will become thin and your hips narrow, the perfect V outline for a stunningly attractive man.

    trust me. thats the best thing you can do.

  4. Typically you can't lose weight and gain muscle at the same time. If you want to gain muscule you will gain a few pounds and then lose weight.

    Here is an easy 30 minute workout.

    Stretch

    5 minutes of running

    50 Sit ups x3

    25 Lunges x3

    12 bench presses(you deside the weight) x3

    10 minutes of running

    5 minutes of jump rope

    Stretch

    If you don't think this workout is enough add some stuff. Change some stuff. Make it right for you. Don't forget to stretch. You don't want to strain a muscle.

    Oh also, if you go to the gym you might want to look in to personal training.

    Watch what you eat. 2000 calories should be good.

  5. try watching total body workout w/ Gilad everyday. his show comes on at 10:30am and 6:30pm(just some conveinent times/ the show comes on at other times of the day also..and he has another show like it that comes a few times a day as well) on Fit TV. his show really does work. on 79% of his shows he does Ab workouts so this might be really good for you. i have been doing his show for a month now and i am getting results. just stick with it and try to do it once a day and i promise you should be happy with your results. and he doesnt make things too boring. ;D
