At the age of twelve, you won't be able to get anything with parental/guardian consent. After that, start auditioning for local stuff, plays and assorted things like that. Get some sort of a resume, and after a few years, look into getting an agent. :) Good luck!

Acting at the age of 12 is a great age to start.

Not too young but not too old.Try checking
