How Can I Get Straight A's?

Schools about to start for me and last year i didn't so fell with the grades and i...hate to say it but i made several bets with people saying i could get straight A's (and money,new cell phone, and bragging rights may have been involved,and im the competitive type ):-/...anyway i was wondering how can i do better in school and get better grade?
