How Can I Get a "Security Lock" On My V3 RAZR?

Like I want to have a code so no one can see my messages, etc. But how do I get one on there? When I try to make a password it was "invalid, try again", or it asks me to enter the old password (which I never had a password to begin with and it was a new phone when I got it...) So how exactly do I do this??

Motorola's default security code is 000000. Try that.

In my experience your "old" password is usually the last 4 digits of your phone number. It won't let anyone into your phone other than to unlock or if you have ICE capabilities it WILL let your ICE phone numbers be dialed in emergencies. Hope this helps.

*edit- as a precaution if you have lots of nosy people around I would change the code so that it is not the last 4 of your number because if anyone knows that and has your phone and knows your number they can unlock it. Hope that helps. :)
