How Can I Know That I'm Being Hacked?

I need a little help to identify and detect if i'm being hacked by someone, first question can hackers see what you're doing on the internet through their screen? Second question, how can i prevent myself from being hacked? Third question is Windows XP Home Firewall is good enough? I Need Help here becuz i'm suspecting that someone's hacking me because they said they seen me log off myspace accounts online.

Windows firewall is very basic and only filters inbound connection, Comodo Pro is free and will also filter outbound connections and should prevent hackers a lot more effectively.

A lot idiots say that they can see what you're doing but 99.9% of them can't they're just trying to scare you.
