I was infected that irritating stuff, and I did a system restore and restored it to an earlier time and now it's gone. But I'm still scared it'll come back and install itself back again,How can I prevent it for good? I don't think I can buy any antispyware programs or anything I wanna know how to do it FREE,and I need help! Please, detailed answers would be good!

  1. use firefox browser with NoScript Plugin, and the WOT plugin from mywot.com

  2. Create a simple user account, in addition to normal administrator account.

While surfing net, use only simple user account.

To switch user, click log off at start & click switch user.

Try it, you will be safe.

Besides this , have a good antivirus programmeTry avg 8

    link

    http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-F...

  3. If you used System Restore it is still there and will be back.

This will take about an hour and will remove it.

Switch off System Restore - you can re-start it if you choose to when your computer is clean.

Install the free version of SUPERantispyware http://superantispyware.com Update it and run a full scan.

Install and run ccleaner http://ccleaner.com - run the ccleaner and the registry scans and delete what it finds but repeat the registry one until nothing is detected.

    Reboot and job done.

I'd also recommend you install a good anti-virus program like avast home edition http://avast.com

and another good anti-spyware program is spybot search and destroy http://safer-networking.org

  4. I presume you have windows. You need to go to your security settings and start blocking either that program or set it so that you are warned every time something tries to install itself on your computer. Avast! is the best anti-virus program ever since AVG have started charging for the program as a whole so i suggest downloading it.

  5. I would want to but a spyware instead of being cheap and wanting to get a free on.

  6. well by doing a system restore all u did was move it to system restore next time u use it it will com right back --look here in answers for ur problem --seems like there are about 10 people today with antivirus 2008

  7. Just go to my profile and click the link for btexpress.(located under my pic of the dog) They will help with almost any computer problems.
