How Can I Stop drinking pop?

1.- How much weight will I lose If I am 185 pounds mainly fat from soda.

2- How will I counter headaches?

  1. First of all, congrats on your decision to stop drinking soda!  It really is so bad for people.

    As far as your particular weight goes, so much depends on your body structure, your activity level how much you are drinking and if you are overweight and if so how much.  But you WILL lose weight from stopping your soda habit.  

    Not sure how many you drink a day, but start off slowly, it will help with the headaches.  Like for example, if you drink 10 soft drinks a day, then I would start off with drinking 9 drinks for about 4 -5 days, then go down to 8 drinks for about 4-5 days then 7 drinks for about 4-5 days  and then keep this up til you are down to one can a day and at this point drink a half a can a day for about 4-5 days and then stop.  All the while though, you NEED to drink more water, even if its flavored water.  Its best though if you drink sugar free flavored water, or low sugar.  I just get fresh water and put a little lemon juice and a dab of sugar in mine and it took a little to get used to it, but now I love it.

    Even if you do not increase your physical activity, you will lose weight from doing this.  You will also feel so much better.  Hang in there, it is so worth it.  And again, congrats on your healthy decision :)  Of course anything else healthy that you do on top will increase your weight loss.  You will be happy with the result. :)


  2. It depends on the person on how much weight you will lose but you will notice a difference. You may not even get headaches. If you do, pop some asprin. And your best bet is to drink water, especially if your looking to lose weight. Plus you will have alot more energy & feel better than you did when you did drink pop.

  3. if drink it every day, then try to drink it every other day. to stop headaches, just take a pain reliever or see a doctor if your headaches are chronic

  4. start drinking healthy fruit flavored pop, or only drink 1 can every 2 weeks. start exercising more. good luck =D

  6. go on a diet .

    forget pop and just drink it on special occasions .
