  1. In the front of your Budgie right underneath the lower beak.

    It is in front between  the wings. If you touch gently you can feel the crop area.

    How old is your Budgie? When they are hatchlings they bulge out a lot when they eat. As they mature it is rarely noticeable due to the feathers and they graze all day.

    If your Budgie is at least 8 to 10 weeks old I would not be concerned. If this is a new baby you will notice when you hand feed. You will slowly seed the formula under their transparent skin. As they wean onto seeds and pellets you can also see the specks of color.

    Remember that an all seed diet is not nutritionally adequate. Budgies should be getting a pelleted diet supplemented with seed and fresh foods: http://www.budgietalk.com/diet.html
