I have a great background in marketing and PR but have hit a stgone wall largely because of the terrible economy and my age, late 50s. I am desperate. I can't get hired on in even retail situations. I would hope my career is not over. I am also a cancer patient and now have no insurance. I am losing all hope.

  1. E-Mail me with your phone number OR with a e-mail address that i can send you my number  and I will tell you how and where to order $6,000 in equipment from a company that specializes in equipment for rehabilitation. You can make well over $100,000 a year with no experience and no special skills.

  2. Don't know maybe try craigslist or monsteror yahoo hot jobs that may be able to find jobs in your area of your field.. Califonia doesn't seem to high on employment lately though but if you're qualified you'll do alright

  3. Don't lose hope!

I would check Craigslist because they list only local jobs and there are tons of them.

Also, MediCal (California's version of MediCare) has programs specfically for cancer patients, you may want to look into that.

    good luck!
