How Can I get This Scope To Fit My MP5 Scope Mount?

NOT FOR THE INEXPERIENCED

The MP55 scope mount is a average 20mm rail mount. The sight has a 20mm mount on the bottom of it so it should fit but..... It doesn't.

The scope mount is 4inches long with to legs to connect them to the airsoft gun. These legs change the scope mount from being 4inches long to two separate 1.5inch rails.

The scope has one small mount on it with a s***w to tighten it. This measures 0.3inches long so this part fits perfectly.

The PROBLEM is the other side of the sight. This is a kind of angled piece on metal that hooks onto the side of the scope mount. It measures 2inches long.... So obviously it doesn't fit.

Can anyone help me?
