This has been happening for like a year now and it hasnt happened in my younger years.

Everytime I take a shower ( shampoo and condition) i always have to blow dry it and straighten atleast my bangs and the other side of the front of my hair. It has a different texture then the rest of my hair, kinda curly.

How can i save my time and keep my hair from frizzing? or whatever is happening?

  1. depends what temperature water you use to wash your hair, i have...well not frizzy, but wavy hair which can have its frizzy and fly away moments

my hair dresser recommended that after i washed my hair normal routine....just turn the water to a cooler setting....or as cold as i can take and rinse it thouroughly with cold water..........

also your routine of blowdrying it might add to the problem.....use a diffuser......dries your hair without the extra heat....wont damage your hair, and if you style your hair so often.....which we all have to do.....wow!

i would reccommend, using some sort of essential oils.....like a few drops of clove oil mixed with coconut oil, massaged into your scalp and just wash it after an hour or leave it o overnight and then wash it.....leaves your hair softer, and makes it managable.

as well one last but important point, stick to simple shampoos like dove....normal hair shampoo and conditioner.

    hope it helps......

  2. Never just blow dry wet hair...your hair doesn't automatically just not frizz...blowing around wet hair will surely cause it to frizz.

Wait until your hair is semi-damp to blow-dry, preferably after towel drying it.  Apply some smoothing serum, like Garnier Fruc. Sleek & Shine..that's what I use, then blow-dry, than straighten if you have to.

I never blowdry because It causes a lot of damage, but if you must then do the above ^^

    hope that helped.

  3. same! after i get out of the shower though, i put a good amount of mousse in my hair. then i comb my hair so it is evenly dispersed throughout, and then i scrunch it so my hair dries curly.. with no frizz.

its really easy, and barely takes up any time!

  4. serum. i like s**y hairs darn straight serum. its a pretty pink and smells great. it have the same promlem. that what i use. and dont blow dry all the time. kills your hair.

  7. Hi , ya i understand i have that problem to. To let ya know my mom like got me a certain hair product it was like jell but u squeeze out of a bottle, ya know what i mean ? Well anyways , you probably get ur hair cut an fixed up so next time you go you should ask the person doing your hair what hair product is best for you. Cause now my hair isn't As frizzy like it was. ( Here's another thing, try not to blow dry it and see if it reacts differently)
